Shenandoah Vineyards in Plymouth, CA, was founded in 1977 by Shirley and Leon Sobon. They moved from Los Altos, California, where Leon was a Senior Scientist with the Lockheed Research Lab. Leon's gift for home winemaking led him to leave Lockheed and begin a new career as a Winemaker.
Today ... the winemaking and business aspects continue to be a family affair. Shirley is the Finance & Gallery Manager while Leon contributes his years of winemaking knowledge to every vintage. Sons Paul, Robert, and Son in-Law Tom Quinn continue the family tradition we began all those years ago.

For the past two decades Sicily has been the

hottest region in all of Italy with regards to the production of new wines and traditional wines

from indigenous grape varietals.

Sicily is also in the forefront with wines

made from international varietals.

Robert will be presenting five new wines

from two of Wines LLC's premier producers -

Firriato and Al-Cantara all made from indigenous grapes.

The three wines from Firriato are grown

on the Island of Fagninana off the coast

of Marsala. Firriato is the Sicily's only grower

on the Island. The remaining two from Al-Cantara grow in the Etna area.

These wines are all limited in number and
