"Ritorno in Sicilia" - Saturday December 4th
For the past two decades Sicily has been the
hottest region in all of Italy with regards to the production of new wines and traditional wines
from indigenous grape varietals. Sicily is also in the forefront with wines
made from international varietals. Robert will be presenting five new wines
from two of Wines LLC's premier producers - Firriato and Al-Cantara all made from
indigenous grapes. The three wines from Firriato are grown
on the Island of Fagninana off the coast of Marsala. Firriato is the Sicily's only grower
on the Island. The remaining two from Al-Cantara grow in the Etna area.
These wines are all limited in number and are all unique to the Cleveland Market.
The following wines will be tasted.
