This company is framed by an enchanting landscape on the hills behind Corno di Rosazzo and is characterized by the suggestive medieval building in which the company is based, made even more fascinating by the last reconstruction, which took place after the 1976 earthquake. It carries out it's activities on 45 hectares located for the most part in the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali. In 2002, the company passed into the hands of the son Oliviero, and daughters Cinzia and Palmira, thus continuing the business started many years ago by their father Andrea.

Winemaking and Other Traditions in an Italian Immigrant Family
Spend an afternoon at the Italian American Museum of Cleveland with Robert Pietraroia
and learn about winemaking and other traditions of Italian Americans. Robert will give a
short presentation on the history of Italian immigration and traditions, with a special focus
on his family. Then guests will have the opportunity to taste a variety
of wines and cellos (lemon and orange.)
Presenter Robert Pietraroia is the former owner of the Abbe Road Vineyard
and has over 43 years of winemaking experience. Robert's wines are
well known amongst the Italian winemaking community and his wines have
been recipients of many awards. Robert also judges local wine contests to stay
abreast of the latest trends in the craft of winemaking and judging and is
a board member of Northern Ohio Wine Guild (NOWG).
Robert will be Joined by Matteo Silvaggio
from Little Italy wines.
Matteo will support and contribute wines to this event.
Limited to about 40 seats.

There are two levels of tickets available.
Must be 21 years of age to purchase.

The talk and tasting will take place at the Italian American Museum of Cleveland (IAMCLE)
located in the heart of Cleveland's Little Italy (between Presti's and Maxi's.)
